Good news! A lot of airlines are hiring again here in the US so I’ve made it a bit easier for you.
Here you will find a full list of airlines who may be hiring flight attendants or other airline related positions now or in upcoming months. I’ve highlighted the ones that are currently hiring at the very top, but keep in mind these positions are only are open for a few weeks most of the time, so don’t wait to apply! If the links below take you to the main page, just scroll to the bottom and click careers and search for open flight attendant positions.
The job description will have all the requirements listed and while it varies by airline, most US mainlines only require you to be 20+ , have a passport and hold a high school diploma or GED. You don’t have to speak another language, however knowing another language opens you up to the opportunity to apply for language specific positions, helping your odds! Also note, if the position has a location listed in the title (ie: flight attendant trainee- Dallas) please note that this is usually just the location where your training will take place and not necessarily where you will be based at. You will probably not receive your base assignment until you’re a good way through training or even after training is complete! Goodluck!

Hey Caroline,
I have been thinking about becoming a flight attendant the last two years, but I never know where to start or what airline would be the best. I live in Louisiana, but I’m open to new places. Do you have any recommended airlines for beginners?
